Leo is the founder of Comarm Solutions, a consulting firm focused on providing expert advice and regulatory compliance support to the Canadian investment industry. 

Leo has over twenty years of experience and was previously the Chief Compliance Office for a national investment dealer.  His compliance experience encompasses wealth management and capital markets, with both large and small investment firms.  He also spent three years as a compliance examiner with the national securities regulator, IIROC.

Leo has participated in several regulatory sub-committees and working groups, such as Anti-Money Laundering, Role of the Compliance Officer, fee-based account policies and registration reform.  Leo has presented to the investment industry on a variety of topics such as Anti-Money Laundering; Gatekeeper Obligations; Compliance Training for Investment Dealers; The Role of Research Analysts in the Due Diligence Process; and Conflicts of Interest – A Compliance Department Perspective.
